This has kept party planners to the stars mighty busy, organizing celebrations to welcome the privileged little ones. She and her friends gathered around the pool at her father’s house to sip lemonade and munch on hors d’oeuvres. Of course, Jennifer’s dad just happens to be the president of Universal Studios. And his house is a mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean. And her friends include Jennifer Aniston, Nicky Hilton and Kate Hudson. Otherwise, it seems like a pretty typical baby shower. According to an anonymous guest quoted in People magazine, there were no shower games and no present opening. Sounds like no fun to me.

Celebrities hold baby showers just like the rest of us. Sure, their parties may be held in more exotic locales, and feature fancier foods, extravagant decorations and a guest list full of famous names, but the purpose is the same.
